Legal Assistant graduates are eligible for 30 credits towards Athabasca University’s three-year Bachelor of Human Resources and Labour Relations degree. In addition, students must complete required 24 credits from Athabasca University for degree completion. Updated May 13, 2010.

The Bachelor of Professional Arts Communication Studies is available to students who have completed an approved two year communications-related diploma from an institute of technology. SAIT Legal Assistant graduates are eligible for a 30 credit transfer.

The Bachelor of Professional Arts: Governance, Law and Management allows students to apply knowledge obtained during the completion of an approved two-year diploma and approved work experience, toward the completion of a four-year applied liberal arts degree. SAIT Legal Assistant students are granted 30 block credits towards degree completion.

Royal Roads University

Graduates of SAIT’s Legal Assistant diploma are eligible to block transfer into the third year of the Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies provided all other entrance criteria are met and space remains available in the program.
